Welcome

I am the assistant professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at KFUPM where I also server as its chairman. Before that, I served as the chairman of the Information and Computer Science Department (ICS) between 2023-2025, and the founding director of the SDAIA-KFUPM Joint Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (JRC-AI) between 2021-2023. 

I received my Ph.D. from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA in Dec. 2019 under the supervision of Prof. Ghassan AlRegib in the Omni Lab for Intelligent Visual Engineering and Science (OLIVES).
